A Party to DIE for, quite literally
Stanley Webber is visited in his boarding house by two strangers, a sleek Jewish man and his muscle bound Irish henchman.
An innocent seeming birthday party for Stanley turns into a nightmare.
Who are Goldberg and McCann? And what has Stanley done to bring these two mysterious strangers to Meg`s "Its on the list" Boarding house.
This absurdist comedy tugs at emotional strings as we see Stanley prodded and pulled from his comfortable shell and pushed into the spotlight for the entertainment of his hosts and the audience.
NLP`s production is fresh from a sell out run at the Citizens Theatre in Glasgow.
"A great, disturbing play."
'The Guardian'
"Pinter's terrifying blend of pathos and hatred fuses unforgettably into the stuff of art."
Sunday Times
